Filling the Gap for IT Industry Needs at Dell World 2012

What do Michael Dell, President Bill Clinton and Freakonomics authors Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner have in common? They will all be delivering keynote speeches at Dell World 2012, on how IT professionals can use new, emerging technologies more effectively. From Dec. 11-13, IT industry leaders will come together in Austin, Texas to discuss insights into solving tough business challenges and making the most of new technology solutions, from mobile devices to data centers to the cloud.

As the IT industry faces the continued growth of social, mobility, cloud computing and big data, IT spending is increasing exponentially as the IT industry races to catch up to the latest trends in technology.  In fact, global IT spending is projected to exceed 4 trillion US dollars by 2015. In the midst of all of this, IT professionals are in need of not just high-performing technology solutions, but are increasingly looking for cost-efficient solutions, as well.  Meeting these demands is sure to be the crux of the conversation happening at Dell World 2012.

Samsung Semiconductor will be in attendance at Dell World 2012 to discuss how we are bringing cost-saving, efficient technologies at the component level to meet IT needs. On the mobile front, my colleagues Stephen Lum and Kathy Choe will be detailing ways Samsung’s Green DDR3, SSDs and LPDDR3 can both improve performance and reduce power consumption in IT infrastructure and mobile environments. In addition, Steve Weinger and Sylvie Kadivar from Samsung will be discussing how Samsung Green Memory and SSDs can bring a trifecta of savings in energy, total cost of ownership and CO2 emissions – all while providing top-notch performance.

To supplement these informative theater presentations from Samsung Semiconductor, we’ll also be showcasing our newest line-up of mobile and enterprise solutions at Dell World this year (#501). We’ll be demonstrating how Samsung Green Memory and SSDs benefit everything from data centers to servers to ultrabooks and notebooks.

We’re excited for the opportunity Dell World provides to discover innovative ways IT leaders can leverage the newest technology solutions.
