Samsung to Feature Green Solutions for SAP at SAPPHIRE NOW 2011

Every enterprise IT organization strives to reduce cost and power consumption out of its operations.  Samsung Semiconductor looks forward to sharing its insights at next week’s conference with its Green Memory and SSD hardware solutions for an enterprise infrastructure that delivers significant savings. Samsung’s Green solutions are differentiated by their focus on providing enterprise applications and database software with increased performance plus greater energy efficiency. Samsung’s solutions enable IT organizations to leverage the benefits of increased performance in cloud computing and virtualized environments, while reducing energy consumption with high-density solutions combined that feature low-process geometries and low voltages.

Next Tuesday,  from 1:00-1:20pm, Sylvie Kadivar, director of Strategic Marketing DRAM at Samsung Semiconductor, will delve into this topic further during her Partner Session presentation, Building SAP In-Memory Computing Platforms with Advanced Memory and SSDs (#1163) on the SME Campus at SAPPHIRE NOW. Samsung representatives will be handing out survey cards there, which respondents can then fill out and return to the Samsung booth, 2313, by 4:30pm for a prize drawing. The afternoon drawing will be for a new Galaxy Tab.

Throughout the 3-day conference, attendees can plan to visit the Samsung booth, #2313,to see demos highlighting the difference in power consumption and heat emission between 50nm-class 2Gb DDR3, 30nm-class 2Gb DDR3, and 30nm-class 4Gb DDR3 memory. Stop by to see the in-booth demos and enter to win a Samsung 46” LED 3D TV. The prize drawing for the TV will be on Wednesday, May 18th at 1:30pm. Eligible contestants must be present to win.
